MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees, possibly doubling or tripling the impact of your gift. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

 

How can I find out if my company has a matching gift program?

 

Contact your human resources department to see if your employer (or your spouse's employer) has a matching gift program. If your employer offers a matching gift program, just request the “how to” instructions from your HR Department. Many companies matching gift forms are now available online.

 

How to make a matching gift to The Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter Inc.

 

Once you have verified that your employer offers a matching gift program, all you need to do is:

• request a matching gift form from your company's human resources department.

   

• send your employer's matching gift form* along with your contribution to: The Lupus Foundation of America. Make checks payable to the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter Inc.

*The employer matching gift form does not have to accompany your contribution to the LFAGA; it can be sent separately. Make a gift now via our website at www.lfaga.org.
